Ab Workouts Do Not Cause Stomach Fat Loss

Most of the people especially men are concerned about losing their tummy fat. Everyone wants a flatter stomach. But due to our food and lifestyle, we are unable to have a flat stomach. And so what we need to do is work towards it and then getting it by hook or by crook. Most of the people have a misconception and that is if they need to have a flat stomach or lose fat from the waistline then you need to rely on abs exercises. But this is only a misconception and needs to be cleared. Merely abdominal exercises will do no good. Now, I am fitness professional and I am telling you this with my everyday experience. There are many other things which I will tell you. Everyone has varying amount of stomach fat and so I am sure you must be interested in knowing the solution to losing the stomach fat.

I have seen many of my clients searching for the combination of abdominal exercises to lose the stomach fat. But the belly fat is stubborn and is tough to lose. Many people who are obsessed with their belly fat want to lose them too fast and so they join spot reduction programs and waste their money. Abdominal exercises do not burn your stomach fat, they only tone the muscles. In order to burn the stomach fat or for that matter fat from any part of the body you need to focus on full body work out. This will make your metabolism faster and better and then there will be fat burning.

Some people rely only on cardiovascular exercises to lose the extra fat or for better metabolic response. But even this in isolation will not give the desired results. If you want to lose that stubborn belly fat then get into high intensity full body work out. There must be multi joint movements with lower rest periods. Select exercises which will cover entire body and work out in that fashion. Just leg raises and crunches will not make you free from the tummy fat. But unfortunately many people believe that hundreds of reps of abdominal exercises will give results. I am not against abs exercises. But merely relying on that small muscle group in isolation will do no good. I mean you must involve the abs exercises but don’t merely rely on that. There must be a good mix of abdominal exercises, high intensity full body work out and cardio in order to get rid of extra fat from your stomach or any other part of the body. Abdominal exercises tone and strengthen the muscles but they are not necessary for fat loss.

I insist that full body training along with the right healthy and fat free diet can work wonders to get rid of the extra fat from your stomach and have a flat fat free waistline. Fat loss can be done by high intensity full body workouts.
